Madonna has been sued by two fans over her ongoing Celebration tour, it has been claimed.

The Hung Up singer is currently embarking on the US leg of her performances, beginning her stint with three nights at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, before jetting to Washington, Boston and Canada.

Although the 65-year-old has been delighting the crowds all over the world, two concert-goers have reportedly filed a lawsuit over her late stage times.

According to documents filed in Brooklyn on Wednesday, obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden launched legal action after claiming the queen of pop was more than two hours late for her set.

The pair, who had tickets to her December 13 stop, also named Live Nation and Barclays Center in the documents, and accused them of ‘unconscionable, unfair, and/or deceptive trade practices’ according to the outlet.

They were unhappy that their tickets listed a start time of 8:30pm, while Madonna reportedly took to the stage at some point after 10:30pm.

When the concert eventually ended, after 1am, the paperwork states that they were ‘confronted with limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation costs’.

It was reportedly stated that those attending the weeknight show ‘had to get up early to go to work and/or take care of their family responsibilities the next day’.

The documents claim, via the outlet, that Madonna also made a late appearance at her shows on December 14 and December 16, at the same venue, alleging that the actions ‘constitute not just a breach of their contracts’, but a ‘wanton exercise in false advertising’ and ‘negligent misrepresentation.’

It has not been made clear what damages Fellows and Hadden are seeking.

Madonna has not addressed the lawsuit publicly, but is due to perform tonight at the Bell Centre in Quebec.

She will be returning to New York next week for three performances at Madison Square Garden, before taking the Celebration tour to Chicago at the beginning of February.

The Like A Virgin singer is no stranger to late set times, and was forced to delay her appearance at London’s O2 Arena last October after a string of technical errors.

After the issues were sorted, she kicked off her set just after 9pm but went past the strict 10:30pm curfew, wrapping things up at 11pm as a result of the late start.

It was reported that every minute past curfew results in a £10,000 fine, meaning Madonna may have had to stump up an additional £300k.

While things have been slightly bumpy for the superstar on the road, she found time to get a shady dig in at Lady Gaga last Friday, mid-way through a performance in Toronto.

She began her performance by mistakenly greeting Boston, before joking: ‘Are you guys mad at me because I said “Hello, Boston?”

‘That would be like if you guys were saying, “Hey, Lady Gaga’s playing tonight!” I wouldn’t like that.

‘I mean, you know, nothing against Lady Gaga. Love her. I do! I love anyone shorter than me.’

All eyes will be on Madge’s next gig…
