M25 protest: Major traffic disruption as Insulate Britain protesters block motorway for second time this week
The i ssay climate change activists have blocked the M25 for a second time this week, causing major disruption during the busy rush hour period.
Protesters from a group called Insulate Britain were filmed blocking the road around junction 23 near South Mimms, after causing long traffic jams on the motorway earlier this week.
Video footage shared on social media showed road users visibly angered by the protest, with drivers heard shouting “I’ll lose my job” at the activists. One woman told LBC she was on the way to visit her daughter who is currently in labour.
