Luke Shaw has revealed he has been in secret talks with Harry Kane and Declan Rice over the duo moving to Manchester United this summer.
Shaw is currently on international duty with his England team-mates and has openly admits he has tried to convince them to head to Old Trafford.
United have been linked with both Kane and Rice although both transfers could be tricky amid the club’s ongoing takeover battle.
Tottenham are reluctant to sell Kane despite him being United’s No.1 transfer target, with Erik ten Hag believed to be a massive fan of the England captain.
United also want Rice but there are several clubs linked to the West Ham star, with Arsenal thought to be the current front-runners to land his signature.
But that has not stopped Shaw from speaking to Kane and Rice about a potential switch to United.
‘I’d love them to join United, I am not going to lie,’ Shaw said about the pair. ‘I am telling them how good Manchester United is because I know their qualities.

‘They are both world-class players who would improve our team massively.
‘They have been here the last couple of days and, hopefully, they like it and can get used to it!’
Shaw has also admitted that he has spoken to Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount about swapping west London for Manchester ahead of the 2023-24 season.
