Love Island star Tanya Manhenga has admitted she ‘doesn’t feel famous’, and revealed she’s heading back to university.

The 23-year-old biomedical student finished the reality dating series in fourth place with Shaq Muhammad, getting just 2% of the public vote in the final after a rollercoaster eight weeks.

The pair were involved in their fair share of drama, from explosive arguments to saying the first ‘I love you’, while Tanya even brought back Martin Akinola from Casa Amor.

But, despite being on our screens every night for two months, Tanya has admitted she doesn’t feel famous.

Speaking on her Instagram stories, she replied to a question asking if she was continuing her education at university.

‘Definitely finish. I don’t start things and don’t finish them,’ she said.

She elsewhere spoke about returning to reality after leaving the villa.

Tanya shared: ‘I honestly don’t feel famous I just feel like normal me with loads of people knowing me.’

Elsewhere, Tanya revealed she had ‘no regrets’ from her time on the show, writing: ‘I have no regrets because I believe everything happens for a reason. And those things lead you to where you are meant to be.

‘I found Shaq in there and left with him stronger so no regrets.’

In another answer, she hinted that Love Island hadn’t shown the ‘real her’, with a series of emojis.

The penultimate episode of the reality dating show saw the house’s most turbulent relationship come under fire from the couple’s nearest and dearest, who did not hold back.

In the episode, one of Shaq’s friends declared Tanya had ‘done him dirty’, while his sister warned him against trusting and forgiving too quickly.
