Viewers were seriously grossed out (Picture: ITV)
Love Island viewers were left beyond disgusted with a clip from Unseen Bits, that many would have preferred to have remained, well, unseen.
During Saturday’s edition of the programme, as the islanders continued living through the fallout of Casa Amor, Jess Harding and Sammy Root werecloser than ever.
A bit too close, in fact, when it was shown that Jess used her own hair strands to floss Sammy’s teeth.
Yes, really.
The pair had been sitting on the daybeds enjoying each other’s company, when narrator Iain Stirling teased: ‘Sammy and Jess have just been getting close again and it’s clear they are growing on each other, even on a bad hair day.’
Jess began: ‘Have you got food in your teeth?’
‘Get it out, is it gone?’ Sammy asked, before Jess said: ‘I’m going to have to use a bit of my hair.’

Instead of being baffled by her actions, Sammy seemed pretty keen.
‘We’re actually such tramps,’ she added, though he denied: ‘No we’re not, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.’
‘Is this what you do?’ he then questioned, to which Jess admitted she does, only when she doesn’t have any floss, though.
‘Get it out,’ Sammy continued, while Jess strung her hair through his teeth.

‘Your hair has broken in my mouth!’ he then cried, before she then had to retrieve the piece of hair from in between his teeth.
‘Yeah the food has gone, has the hair gone?’ Jess confirmed, while Sammy gagged the hair out.
‘What disgusting nonsense are Sammy and Jessy doing with her hair in his teeth?’ one viewer wrote.
Another penned: ‘Jess and Sammy are so gross eww.’
‘Jess… this is sick,’ someone else said, while another echoed: ‘That is so nasty omg.’
Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2.
