Adam Collard has opened about his childhood in scenes filmed for Celebs Go Dating and the dialogue could provide an insight into his romantic decisions.
The reality TV star has been a controversial figure since first appearing on Love Island in 2018.
He was accused of gaslighting Rosie Williams, with Women’s Aid warning women of ‘abusive relationships’ in the aftermath.
He returned in 2022 and coupled up with Paige Thorne, but they quickly split post-villa following the emergence of footage that depicted the personal trainer with his arms around another woman in a McDonald’s.
‘I was getting sent more videos of him on nights out that didn’t go viral and that were just really shady and I wasn’t comfortable in it,’ she explained.
Now, Paul C Brunson who is a dating expert on the E4 show has told fans that we’re going to see a different side to Adam, 27, which may explain his behaviour.

Paul, 48, believes that Adam is going to challenge public perception on the show that challenges celebrities to date under the guidance of Paul, and Anna Williamson.

‘In several agency sessions he shares his emotions and it’s a glimpse into his soul that will captivate even those unsure about him.
‘Let’s remember, our adult actions often have roots in childhood experiences.’
He concluded: ‘Keep an open heart for Adam; he’s genuinely special.’

Rumours have been heating up that Adam is dating Celebs Go Dating co-star Lottie Moss, 25, after they were spotted holding hands on a night out.
‘I mean, where there is smoke there is fire,’ laughed Anna to Metro.co.uk when asked about the gossip. ‘It’s a dating agency and celebrities get close.
‘We’re together a long time and they often lean on each other for support and sometimes that support can also segue into more than that.’
Celebs Go Dating continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
