Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams fear for Prince Harry after book release: ‘It’ll put a bomb under his familial relationships forever’

Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams have expressed their fears for Prince Harry after the release of his autobiography, Spare.

Prince Harry’s memoir promises to be ‘unflinching’ as he shares his account of life in the Royal family, and is due to be released in January.

With his and Meghan Markle’s departure from Royal life having sparked tensions with the family, the Loose Women panel admitted they feared the rifts the upcoming book could cause.

Nadia admitted she was ‘quite shocked’ at title, adding: ‘I won’t be reading it. I’d read excerpts in newspapers but I don’t think I’ll be buying it.’

Explaining why she feels that way, Nadia added: ‘Don’t you think that it’s better to be quieter? To keep talking about it alerts more [attention to it].

‘I understand that fear and I like Harry but I just think this book isn’t the answer to anything. And actually I feel really sorry for him and I feel really, really sorry for William because we don’t know much about the other relationships.

‘But we’ve seen it over the years that they had a very close brotherly relationship and I suspect in the dead of night, often, Harry lies there and thinks “What am I actually doing?”

‘I felt that very clearly when watching the [Queen’s] funeral, and its like you won’t be able to rewind that back.’

Kaye agreed with Nadia, adding: ‘I agree with you because I don’t worry what this will do to the Royal family, because the Royal family has survived through goodness knows how many scandals, but I worry about what it will do to Harry.

‘Because if it is what it seems to promise to be, then I don’t see how it can’t just put a bomb under his familial relationships forever. Do you really know what it’s like to sever relationships with every member of your family for life?’

While Judi Love believes Harry should be able to speak his own truth on the situation, Nadia added: ‘I wonder how many times he thought “ I wish I could just wheel it back”? It’s too late.’

Judi and Nadia, who were dressed in Alice In Wonderland costumes along with the rest of the panel for Halloween, admitted they may have differing views on Meghan and Harry, but the pair ended their discussion with a laugh, joking that they are ‘never going to agree’ on their stance on the matter.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30 on ITV.
