The attorney for the dancers accusing Lizzo of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment says more claims have been made.

Ron Zambrano, the lawyer representing the three back-up dancers accusing Lizzo of bullying, had revealed that more people have come forward with their own similar stories.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that a lawsuit has been filed against the singer, 35, her company Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc., and dance captain Shirlene Quigley.

In paperwork obtained by numerous US publications, the dancers allege that Lizzo pressured one of them to touch a nude performer at an Amsterdam club.

They also allege that Lizzo called attention to a performer’s weight gain and gave certain dancers preferential treatment, among several other claims.

Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, denied the ‘sensationalised’ allegations with a lengthy statement that was posted on her Instagram page.

However, Zambrano, has claimed that, since the lawsuit surfaced in the media, other performers have come forward with allegations of their own.

He said to Newsnation: ‘Now that this is out, the cat is out of the bag, people are coming forward and going, “You know what, I went through that”.’

The three dancers who are all named in the lawsuit are Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, who all worked with Lizzo from 2021 onwards.

‘There are people calling my office going “You know what, behind close doors this is how Lizzo is”,’ Zambrano added, but gave no specific details about the new claims.

In her response, Lizzo has described the lawsuit as ‘gut-wrenchingly difficult’ and ‘overwhelmingly disappointing’, calling the accusations ‘unbelievable’.

‘These sensationalised stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.’

Speaking to NPR about Lizzo’s response, Zambrano said: ‘Her denial of this reprehensible behaviour only adds to our clients’ emotional distress.’

TalkTV host Julia Hartley-Brewer has come under fire since the allegations surfaced after referring to Lizzo and her dancers as ‘physically repulsive’.
