Liverpool defender Conor Bradley has signed a new contract at Anfield, the club has confirmed.

The 21-year old joined the club from Dungannon United in September 2019 and has since established himself as a key member of the first-team squad, making his breakthrough last season under Jurgen Klopp.

Bradley has made 27 appearances for the club this season and is expected to feature more for Arne Slot’s side next season following the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Sources have told ESPN the right-back’s new deal will run until June 2029, representing a significant commitment to a player who is rated highly by the Anfield hierarchy.

Liverpool will have a vacancy at right back next season, with Alexander-Arnold having confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season. The England international is set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Sources have told ESPN that Liverpool are preparing to activate the release clause of Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong, who is likely to compete with Bradley for a starting spot.

Bradley signed his first professional contract at Liverpool in July 2020 and made his senior debut for the club in September of the following year when he featured in a Carabao Cup tie at Norwich City.

He made a total of five appearances for the Reds during the 2021-22 season before he joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the duration of the next campaign, where he went on to be named Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year and lifted the EFL Trophy at Wembley.

Bradley rejoined the Liverpool squad in the summer of 2023 and scored his first goal for the club against Chelsea in 2024.

The defender also collected a winner’s medal in the Carabao Cup final against the same opponents a month later.
