PMQs – UK Prime Minister’s Questions begins – military support to Ukraine
Boris Johnson is at the House of Commons facing questions from MPs – the ongoing Ukraine-Russia crisis is expected to be the main priority.
This week’s PMQs is expected to cover more information on the UK’s sanctions against Russia (five banks and three billionaires have had their assets frozen).
The UK’s ‘weak’ sanctions have been criticised.

Boris Johnson tells MPs that “in the light of increasing threatening behaviour from Russia” the UK will shortly be providing a further package of military support to Ukraine. He says this will include aid in the form of defensive weapons and non-lethal aid.
