Lily Collins has confirmed that Emily in Paris is back in production for season four, and we are très excited.
The hit Netflix program was left on a massive cliffhanger at the end of the third series, with fans begging for information on new episodes.
Shortly after Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, revealed that she had suffered an ‘excruciating’ medical emergency, Lily shared some much-needed news about the future of their show.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old sent viewers into meltdown when she posted a glimpse at the first script, announcing that she is back in France.
‘Did someone say Saison Quatre?! Finally reunited with my @emilyinparis fam back in Paris and it feels so good,’ she penned.
‘Although, I may need to brush up on my selfie skills for Emily’s sake…’
Fans were living for the snaps and flooded the comments section with excitement for what Emily could possibly get herself caught up in next.
‘Finally this is happening!! I miss seeing Emily,’ one celebrated.
Another agreed: ‘AHH OMG!!! Finally! So so beyond excited for this season 4!!’
A follower yelled: ‘FINALLY! EMILY WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH.’

‘Wow… congrats lady!! Emily is back in Paris,’ an Instagram user wrote.
As a commenter shared their support for Ashley, adding: ‘I do hope we (fans of this show) can all work together to pray for the complete and total healing of @ashleyparklady – she is an invaluable piece of the Emily in Paris family.’
The star, who also appeared in Mean Girls and Only Murders in the Building, revealed earlier today that she had been hospitalized with ‘critical septic shock’ after coming down with tonsilitis while on holiday.
‘While on holiday in December into New Years, what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs. I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told,’ she wrote.

Directing her message to real-life boyfriend Paul Forman – who plays her love interest in season three – she continued: ‘You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know.
‘I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.
‘I hesitated to share what’s been happening as I’m still in the throes of recovery…but I now know I’m safely on the other side of the worst.’
It is not clear when Ashley will be recovered enough to return to filming, but her character is set to be a huge part of the upcoming series, with Mindy’s band performing at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Creator Darren Star previously spilled to Deadline: ‘I don’t know what the details of filming are but I think that our plan is to go to Eurovision next season, we’re all set up for it.
‘And I think we’ve got a deserving song. I love that song, Mon Soleil, I think it would be definitely a worthy entry.’
Emily in Paris is available to stream on Netflix now.
