Liam Gallagher has pleaded with Noel Gallagher to end their years-long feud – both for the band and the sake of their mother.
The brothers have been in a bitter public argument for over a decade, from before and since Oasis split in 2009.
Every so often there are hopes of a reunion – but these are quickly quashed as either Noel or Liam lash out at one another either in an interview or via Twitter.
Most recently, Noel dismissed rumours of an Oasis reunion – but then went on to publicly ‘dare’ Liam to call, claiming the rocker was too scared to be in the same room as him.
Now Liam has again asked Noel to make up, but added: ‘I won’t be calling him, he will be calling me’ – partly because he has reached out before, and because he has lost Noel’s contact details.
He admitted though that he ‘wants’ his brother ‘to call. It would be lovely for my mum.’
‘I’m not arsed about the band,’ the star went on. ‘It would be lovely for two brothers to be talking and for my mum.

‘The families have not seen each other and my kids haven’t seen his kids. I haven’t seen his kids, all that would be great.’
Noel recently split from wife Sara MacDonald after 22 years together; the pair share two teenage children: Donovan, 15, and 23-year-old Sonny, who Liam has never met, as revealed by Sara in 2020.
After being in a relationship for 10 years, the couple were married in 2011, with the ceremony attended by their then-four and one-year-old sons.
Liam was known not to get along with Sara and did not attend the pair’s wedding.
The musical brothers made up one of the most successful indie bands of their time, and their hits include late night anthem Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
