The 15th and final Strictly Come Dancing celebrity has been revealed as Les Dennis.
Family Fortunes star Les, 69, has been confirmed to be in the 2023 lineup, joining the likes of Bobby Brazier and Amanda Abbington.
The star was named on Friday’s Good Morning Britain, after hosts Ranvir Singh and Ben Shepherd had jokingly teased for the entire morning that Ben himself was ready to take to the dancefloor.
Even their clues were intentionally confusing, as they teased a daytime TV star with a game show in the evenings, while showing Ben laughing.
Once he was revealed, Les admitted he had been asked before to join Strictly, but it was while he was in Coronation Street and due to his contract wasn’t allowed.
He’s also not letting previous injuries deter him, declaring: ‘I had a knee replacement two years ago, and I remember thinking it’s time to slow down. But you get offered something like this and it puts a spring in your step.’

‘I’m excited but I’m terrified,’ he admitted, but is determined to prove ‘people of any age can do anything.’
In a statement following his official reveal, Les said he was ‘thrilled’ to be taking part.
He said: ‘I’m thrilled to be doing this iconic wonderful show as I approach my 70th birthday!

‘In my career I’ve always gone for challenges outside my comfort zone and this is the ultimate one! Can’t wait.’
Les, who was previously married to Amanda Holden, had been heavily rumoured to be in theline-up, with an insider telling The Mail on Sunday: ‘He might be about to turn 70 but he is a showman and he will be great entertainment for those watching at home.
‘There is genuine excitement about Les taking part.’
The Celebrity Big Brother star is no stranger to dancing, as he has starred in West End productions including Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Only Fools And Horses The Musical, Chicago and The Addams Family.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6amon ITV
