Leroy Sane says he is not interesting in deciding his future right now but suggests that he wants to remain at Bayern Munich.
The winger has been linked with a stunning return to the Premier League with both former club Manchester City and Liverpool interested in signing him.
With 16 goal contributions in 18 games across all competitions, Sane has emerged as one of Thomas Tuchel’s best and most relied upon players this season.
It has brought his tally with Bayern to 47 goals and 44 assists in 151 games since his £43million move from the Etihad in 2020.
However, with just over 18 months left on his contract, there is speculation that he could leave Munich in the near-future, even though the Bundesliga champions want to extend his stay.
Liverpool were first linked with a shock move for the 27-year-old in October, and now reports suggest City could also move for their former star.
While on international duty with Germany, Sane was asked about his future, and while the player remained coy on the matter, he hinted that he’s happy to stay at Bayern.

‘I haven’t given it [my future] any thought yet,’ Sane said.
‘The club wants to have talks, but at the moment I want to focus on this season.
‘FC Bayern remains my first point of contact, there’s no doubt about that.’

Sane moved to City from Schalke in 2016 and was a key part of Pep Guardiola’s plans in his first few years at the club, scoring 39 and assisting 46 in 135 appearances, winning two league titles, the FA Cup and three League Cups.
It would be surprise to see him return to the club however, given their wealth of attacking, wide players like Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku.
Equally, Liverpool have great forwards like Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah, though it is said that Sane is being eyed in case the latter moves to the Saudi Pro League.
