Lenny Kravitz has spoken frankly about a sexual encounter he had when he was a teenager.
The 59-year-old musician has previously discussed what happened when his parents were out of town.
According to Lenny, he was left with a babysitter known to the family and that babysitter invited friends over.
Lenny said he retreated to his bedroom but one of the babysitter’s friends entered his room, got under his covers and touched him without permission.
He first spoke about the incident in his 2020 memoir, Let Love Rule.
But in a new interview with Esquire, the superstar hitmaker was asked about the incident, specifically whether he ‘considers the interaction sexual assault’.

Lenny said he didn’t.
‘It was an experience and a lesson,’ he replied, adding, ‘Everything doesn’t have to be so…’
Lenny then ‘changed course’, adding: ‘I’m not saying that there aren’t things that deserve to be addressed — maybe somebody would say it should have been addressed and that it was, whatever, but that’s the time it was.’
He noted: ‘I lived, and I learned. I wasn’t traumatised.’

Lenny’s latest interview comes after he sent fans into absolute meltdown when he posted a steamy teaser for his new music video.
The sensual video saw the heartthrob gyrating on a golden chair and in a bathtub while stripping down and covering his modesty with cleverly placed statues.

Anyone else feeling a little hot under the collar?
Weeks earlier, Lenny – who shares his 33-year-old daughter Zoe Kravitz with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet – delighted TikTok users after joining the platform and making a post with THAT iconic scarf.
Strolling casually towards the camera down a park path, with the scarf draped down one side of his body and thrown over his shoulder, the Let Love Rule crooner announced: ‘Grab your big scarf. It’s the first day of fall.’
The caption to his first-ever TikTok, which amassed 4.7million views in less than 48 hours, repeated his message, reading: ‘It’s the first day of fall.’
