Lauren Harries’ family have shared the star has been released from hospital.
The Celebrity Big Brother 2013 finalist, 45, has been in hospital for most of the year after undergoing emergency brain surgery.
She later contracted infections and was placed into a coma due to severe seizures.
Now her loved ones have shared a touching update on how the family will be able to spend Christmas together at home.
‘Update: Laurens out of hospital,’ they posted on the star’s X, formerly Twitter, page.
‘It’s been the most stressful 7 months of our families lives.

‘But she’s home in time for Christmas.’
They also shared a message from Lauren, who came to the public eye as a child for her knowledge of antiques on shows like Wogan and After Dark.
‘It’s wonderful not seeing the worry on my family’s faces anymore. Merry Christmas thank you to all of my stars for your love.’
As an adult Lauren has been known for her appearances on TV series such as Celebrity Big Brother, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, This Morning and Naked Attraction.
It was back in April that her mother Katy revealed Lauren was in hospital after the emergency surgery.
On April 14, Katy issued a plea on Twitter asking people to pray for her daughter after the procedure, saying: ‘Please pray or send good thoughts to my precious daughter Lauren who is recovering from emergency brain surgery today.’

In the months since she has shared updates on her daughter’s condition on social media.
Since then, Lauren has faced losing her hair, ‘fighting a permanent headache’, having blackouts, being placed in an induced coma and also having spinal surgery.
In May she shared her gratitude after revealing she’d nearly died.
‘Nearly dying makes you appreciate every moment. So, enjoy the sunshine and know that I love you. Light, love and peace,’ she wrote on social media.
