Lauren Harries is now awake after being placed in an induced coma.
The 2013 Celebrity Big Brother star, 45, underwent emergency brain surgery earlier this year and has been recovering in hospital.
Her mum, Katy, shared this week that Lauren had to be put into an induced coma by doctors after suffering a seizure.
She wrote on social media at the time: ‘Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control.
‘Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all.’
Thankfully, Lauren has now been woken.

However, she is in a lot of pain.
Sharing an update to Twitter, Lauren’s mum got candid about the latest bump in the road to her recovery.
‘Lauren was woken after her induced coma, she still has painful seizures which cause her whole body to shake uncontrollably’, she wrote.
‘She is unable to walk and her feet are in pain.’
Her mum went on to thank Lauren’s fans alongside a picture of the child prodigy sitting up in bed and doing some arts and crafts.
She also wore a very stylish Louis Vuitton headscarf, previously saying it was her ‘worst nightmare’ to lose her curly hair during the initial operation.
‘The only thing keeping her going at the moment is you, her fans and her painting.’

Lauren’s mum added: ‘Doctors are still unable to diagnose what’s causing any of this, they are testing different medications to help.
‘Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts. She loves you all.’
Lauren’s followers were quick to celebrate her improvement, with one replying: ‘Fantastic news Lauren! Prayers and love to you. Keep on painting!! Xxxx’
Another added some words of encouragement: ‘Lauren! Keep going you can do this…. One day this fight will be a distant memory and you’ll understand the pride we have in you xx take each day as it comes x’
Lauren – who rose to fame as a child antiques expert – has been sharing updates online throughout her care.
Her mum also spoke frankly about how ‘terrified’ she was to see her daughter after her op.
Posting a video, Katy, 80, wrote: ‘One of the scariest experiences of a mother’s life, seeing your child hurting.

‘All I wanted to do was swap places with Lauren.’
She explained: ‘This is just after her brain surgery, even then we had no idea if we’d ever get our Lauren back again.
‘Seeing her like this was terrifying. She has been so brave and I am so proud of her for all she’s been through.’
Since her first operation, Lauren has had a turbulent time of things.
As well as suffering unexplained seizures, she has been fighting ‘permanent headaches’ and heavily bruised arms and hands.
The media personality then ‘nearly died’ when she contracted infections and had to be placed into intensive care.
