Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have applied to legally change their baby son’s name.
The couple welcomed their son in February 2022, and also share daughter Stormi, now five.
Reality star Kylie has chosen to keep her son somewhat out of the spotlight – compared to how often she posts online – and the mum and dad famously changed their mind about their son’s name, waiting for almost a year before revealing his new one.
The pair had introduced their son to the world with the name Wolf Jacques Webster, however later announced they would be changing his name as, according to Kylie, it ‘just didn’t suit him.’
There was even more confusion when, months later, Kylie appeared to reveal his name was still, in fact, Wolf – until shortly before his first birthday when she introduced him on social media as Aire.
What a rollercoaster.
Now, TMZ reports that the young parents have filed legal documentation to switch the boy’s name from Wolfe Jacques to Aire Webster.

Both have reportedly signed the petition, which is now with the courts, and which states they ‘regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster.
‘Now that Petitioners have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit.’
Make-up mogul Kylie previously confirmed that her second child’s name is pronounced ‘Air,’ rather than ‘Airy’ as some fans were pronouncing it, and means Lion of God.

She announced last year that her son’s name was on longer Wolf, telling fans she wanted to make this clear as she kept ‘seeing Wolf everywhere’ after announcing it was his name.
‘FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘We just really didn’t feel like it was him.
‘Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere. [sic]’

The Kylie Cosmetics founder admitted in September that she knew as soon as she signed her son’s birth certificate she didn’t want to name him Wolf, but ‘felt the pressure’ to choose a name quickly because of the legal registration process.
Rumours emerged in January of this year that the couple had split, however neither have commented publicly on the speculation.
