Kelly Rowland sparks hopes of a new Destiny’s Child album (Picture: Rex)
Kelly Rowland has got us all Jumpin’, Jumpin’ after hinting that a Destiny’s Child reunion could be on the cards.
It’s been a long 17 years since the trio – made up of Beyonce, Michelle Williams, and Kelly – officially disbanded, but there’s now fresh hope that we could see them together again.
While promoting her new singing competition series Breakthrough, the 42-year-old singer was asked whether she could envision the group getting back in the studio.
‘You know, [Beyonce] is on tour, Michelle has projects that she’s into, I’m having projects that I’m into,’ she began.
Speaking to E!, she continued: ‘If it happens, it happens you know. But everybody has their own lives right now. If it happens, it happens.’
Make it happen, Kelly!

Talk of Destiny’s Child reunion first arose last week when Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles revealed he’s holding out that the group record ‘one last album’.
‘It’s a decision that the ladies would have to make,’ he told Entertainment Tonight.
‘And I would certainly, certainly support that decision as I still manage Destiny’s Child. I would love to see that as well.’

Last year, Michelle hinted at the possibility of the Say My Name hitmakers getting back together.
Speaking to the New York Post, she said: ‘I wonder if it’s on our mind, but it never comes out of our mouths.
‘As naturally as we talk about so many other things, when the time is right, it will naturally come up in conversation somehow.

‘We have fun together when we do decide to work with each other in that capacity. I don’t think either of us is opposed to it. It’s just, what’s the right opportunity?
‘But I will say we haven’t had an official album out together in 17 years and for the questions to be asked now is really kind of awesome.’
