Keanu Reeves accidentally cut someone’s head open while filming John Wick flick: ‘That really f**king sucked’

Keanu Reeves revealed that he accidentally ‘cut a gentleman’s head open’ while filming a John Wick movie.

The 58-year-old stars as the titular character in the blockbuster franchise, with the Chapter 4 sequel arriving in cinemas today.

The action icon has been everywhere in the lead up to the release, including a very awkward interview with Roman Kemp.

However, it turns out that wasn’t the most agonizing part of his experience so far, as a new chat saw the actor reveal some truly painful moments from set.

When asked about stunts not going to plan, he confessed: ‘Well I mean everyone is pretty tired – but it’s the best kind of tired. It’s like you climbed a mountain now you’re resting; like you finished the game and you won.

‘So in terms of accidents: I made a mistake once – I cut a gentleman’s head open. So that really f**king sucked (excuse my language).

‘But other than that – oh, one guy got hit by a car. He was in the car, so he had to go to the hospital, but he was okay.’

Despite some unfortunate mishaps, the Hollywood icon insisted that care is taken to ensure that everyone is kept safe.

‘All of this to say: that you do have to take care,’ he added to ComicBook.com. ‘But it’s great that everyone [on set] is watching out for each other.

‘So there’s some bruising and aches and pains, but [imitates official PSA announcement] “No humans were harmed in the filming of this motion picture!”’

It definitely doesn’t sound like it…

The fourth John Wick instalment also stars Laurence Fishburne, Rina Sawayama and the late Lance Reddick – who died last week.

Keanu Reeves’ soulful presence haunts every frame in John Wick: Chapter 4

Keanu recently reflected on the blockbuster films and what keeps him returning to the role, in a chat with Metro.co.uk.

‘I try really hard, but with John, you have to try just a little bit harder,’ he told us.

‘I like his humor, I like his will, I like his grief and it’s really fun to play him in these films, these films are fun.’

John Wick 4 is out in cinemas now.
