Katie Price has warned her followers against getting the ‘lip flip’ Botox procedure after showing fans a scar from a botched procedure.
The mum-of-five and former glamour model, 45, has had numerous surgeries down the years, including 16 breast implants, several eye lifts and lip fillers, and liposuction, but has warned fans off one of the latest cosmetic crazes.
A lip flip is described as a ‘non-surgical subtle procedure of injecting Botox into the upper lip border to make it “flip” and enhance the shape’.
But Katie has stepped in this week to discourage her fans from getting the procedure, revealing that a lip flip slip can cause lasting damage.
When asked by a fan during a Facebook livestream whether she would recommend a lip flip, she immediately said she wouldn’t now.
‘No, don’t do it!’ she addressed the person who asked the question. ‘I did it, and can you see the scar?’ Katie then said, moving closer to the camera.

‘I didn’t really like the lip flip,’ she then added, before continuing to answer more questions from fans around the world who had tuned in to the live stream.
It appears that the former I’m A Celebrity star has significantly changed her tune from earlier in 2023, when she initially had the lip filler procedure done.
‘I am loving my new lips. Look at them. I love my new lips,’ she first said to her fans after getting the procedure done, appearing to be happy with them.

She also said: ‘I’ve just had my anti-wrinkles done, my new lips done, I’ve got my new nose. I’m feeling refreshed – not bad for 45.’
During another video posted on her social media account, she said: ‘So this is what we do in our lunchtime. Needles in the lips,’ while getting injected.
Last month, the My Mucky Mansion star admitted that sometimes she’s ‘gone too far’ with many cosmetic surgeries, but has vowed to continue with them.
‘I know sometimes when I have gone too far. I have been there done it with all the fillers. I don’t have fillers now,’ she told the Go Love Yourself podcast.
Katie had her first breast enhancement surgery at the age of 20, and has had 15 more procedures over the space of 25 years.
As well as going up and down several bra sizes over the years, Katie has also had liposuction under her chin – it’s been estimated that she’s spent north of £500,000 on cosmetic works over the years.
‘I do in my lips and I have Botox because it got to the point where my face just looked like a balloon. Like really shiny. I am starting to look alien.’
