Katie Price faces being BANNED from Instagram as she hides out in St Lucia on secret holiday
The Sun says: KATIE Price faces losing her social media income after fleeing to the sun as it was revealed she was paid to plug a conman.
The Advertising Standards Authority is investigating after we revealed how reality star Katie was promoting Josh Chandler on Instagram.
Former glamour model Katie, 43, who is in Caribbean paradise St Lucia, urged her 2.6million followers at least twice to invest in Chandler for a “safe income”.
She got around £3,000 a post for backing the currency “whiz”, it is thought.
Katie — declared bankrupt in 2019 — promised justice for her fans after learning some had been cheated out of thousands.
A source said: “Katie is gutted about the investigation and possible implications. Almost half her income is through social media — not only endorsements, but by keeping her brand going through interacting with her fanbase.
“To be stripped of her socials would, for Katie, be like losing a limb. The last thing she wants is to be seen as cheap or indiscriminate in her plugging.
