Juventus are keen to bring Antonio Conte back to the club as manager, with the Tottenham boss stalling over a new contract due to the interest, according to reports in Italy.
Juve are having a very poor season under Max Allegri, sitting eighth in Serie A and already eliminated from the Champions League after picking up just three points in the group stage.
Predictably Allegri is under huge pressure to keep his job and there is growing expectation that he will not be in charge next season.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus are turning to their former manager Conte and want to secure a summer reunion with the Spurs boss.
Conte’s contract in north London expires at the end of this season, but Tottenham have the option to extend it for another 12 months.
Spurs want the Italian to sign a new deal, keeping him at the club for longer, but the Juventus situation is reportedly seeing those talks stall as he waits to see what comes of the interest.

Conte has previously dismissed reports of a return to Turin, saying earlier this season: ‘It’s incredible — and disrespectful for the coach that works in Juventus. And disrespectful for me at Tottenham.
‘We’ve just started the season. Many times I always say I’m happy, and enjoying it at Tottenham.
‘I have a great relationship with the chairman Daniel Levy and managing director of football Fabio Paratici. I don’t see problems for the future.
‘I don’t want to hear people speaking about it because it is disrespectful first for other coaches. And also for me.’
