Eco activists have created a human barricade on a major junction in London – bringing traffic to a standstill.
Just Stop Oil protestors gathered near Mansion House tube station this morning.
Some glued themselves to the tarmac while others linked arms to block cars and buses from passing.
Campaigners are sat with banners at the junction linking Cannon Street, Queen Victoria Street and Garlick Hill.
Just Stop Oil say 31 activists are involved.
Tommy Burnett, 30, a taxi driver from Kendal said: ‘I’m taking action because the status quo needs to change; we cannot continue using fossil fuels when we know it is causing increasingly severe weather and making areas of the world uninhabitable.
‘I’m in civil resistance because I believe people’s health, and the health of our planet, is more important than the wealth of a few.’
Today marks Just Stop Oil’s 27th day of action this month.

The protests form part of a wider demand for the British Government to halt all new oil and gas licences and consents.
Since their latest campaign began on April 1, Just Stop Oil supporters have been arrested 1,900 times, with seven supporters currently in prison.
On Monday, protestors chucked chocolate cake over the King Charles waxwork at Madame Tussauds.
The stunt came just a day after campaigners in Germany covered a £96m Monet painting with mashed potato.
Dramatic video footage showed the moment the pair hurled the food all over the historic piece of art.
