Jurassic Park fans were served the ultimate throwback after one of the original cast re-enacted an iconic scene from the dinosaur flick.
Thirty years on, the teenage star of the 90s classic Ariana Richards – now 43 – sat down to remake her legendary green jelly scene ahead of the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
She created the moment her former character Lex Murphy encountered a Velociraptor after she had narrowly escaped an attack moments before.
Perfectly capturing the facial expressions and fear in her eyes as if it was 1993, Ariana held a spoon full of green jelly that shook in tune with her trembling hand.
The film’s social media account prompted an influx of response after they posted the modern-day scene next to the original take all those years ago.
Captioning the footage: ‘Lex: 30 years later [sic],’ fans were aghast as they watched Ariana age before their eyes and admitted the video made them feel extremely old.

Underneath the extraordinary comparison, one fan penned: ‘She aged like fine wine,’ while another said: ‘Iconic 30 years then, iconic 30 years now!’
‘Well, now I officially feel old,’ was a separate social media account’s response to the content that appeared on Instagram.
The child star acted in The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997 before she took a big step back from the industry and profession as a whole.

Ariana was 13 at the time of her role in the wildly popular franchise and was spotted attending the premieres for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and Jurassic World: Dominion just last year.
The star paid tribute to the film’s milestone on her own social media channel as she uploaded a snippet of the movie’s original trailer with a caption that read: ‘Thirty years! Thank you so much, everyone [sic].’
