Roma boss Jose Mourinho could revive interest in Arsenal star as exit looks inevitable
The Daily Express says Roma boss Jose Mourinho failed in his pursuit of Granit Xhaka over the summer, but he could go in for him again with an exit for the Swiss international looking increasingly likely due to other performances at the Emirates.
After an impressive Euro 2020 campaign with Switzerland it looked destined that Granit Xhaka would move on from Arsenal, with the midfielder in and out of favour under Mikel Arteta.
Jose Mourinho was heavily interested in bringing Xhaka to Roma and it looked as though a deal would be agreed, but the midfielder ended up staying put at the Emirates.
