Boris Johnson doesn’t know if he is among first 20 partygate fines
The Times says Boris Johnson has not yet been told whether he will be fined for lockdown-breaching Downing Street parties and is refusing to say whether he accepts that the law has been broken.
Scotland Yard confirmed this morning that 20 fines would be issued to Downing Street staff for breaching rules.
Following a two-month investigation, the force said it would not specify “at this point” which parties had broken pandemic law, saying that this could lead to them being identified.
