Joe Lycett’s new podcast is quite literally a ‘load of s**t’.
The 35-year-old comedian has found the great leveller between celebrities and the rest of us mere mortals by launching a new series interviewing celebrities about their toilet habits.
From the most satisfying to the totally horrifying, no turd is left unturned for Joe and his famous friends on the Turdcast.
He said in a statement: ‘Famous people are just like you or me – they sometimes find themselves experiencing a blissful quarter of an hour with a novel and a multipack of Cushelle, or flooring it down the M6 in a race against time to find a Welcome Break cubicle.
‘Let’s face it, most podcasts are just celebrities talking shit – Turdcast will now make that official.’
Match of the Day star Gary Lineker is the first guest, reminiscing his infamous on the pitch poo in England’s opening game at the 1990 World Cup which still has people talking him to ‘stick to sh***ing on the pitch’ whenever he gets political on social media.

In a first look clip of the inaugural Turdcast episode, Gary admitted he even had to mute a very specific word on X (formerly Twitter) to clean out his mentions.
‘I’ve spent a lot of time talking about toilet stuff over the years, once my little accident became public knowledge, which was about 20 years after the event – about the same time I went on Twitter, as it was then known,’ he recalled.
‘Every single tweet that I would put out, underneath it would be – whatever I was talking about! Say I was talking about, “I’m going to see Joe Lycett this afternoon”. It’d be, “S**t on Joe Lycett”, multitudes of them all saying, whatever the subject.

‘I’m talking about Manchester City, “S**t on Manchester City”. Brilliantly witty of them all! But in the end, they had this thing where you could mute words so I muted “s**t” and I’ve really not seen any since! It actually works!’
More big names are set to appear as Joe looks to lift the toilet lid on everyone’s bathroom habits in a series of incredibly frank conversations.
A press release teases: ‘From King Charles to Gary Barlow, we all need to jump to do a dump, flee to do a wee or grit to do a s**t – literally nobody is too hot to squat.
‘But we ARE all collectively terrified at the prospect of discussing our toilet habits – that time you got caught short, walked in on your mate or realised the loo roll had run out.
‘From bog standards to demon dumps, we all have a toilet story to tell and you’ll now get to hear them all in the number 1 (or number 2) podcast from Mummy.’
Turdcast will drop at 9am on Friday 24th November, available from wherever you get your podcasts.
