The pair are planning a woodland ceremony in Herefordshire, the Sun reported.
A source told the newspaper Brendan’s son and daughter he had with Jo are very much supportive of their dad’s relationship.
‘They are very happy together. It is lovely news for the family,’ the source added.
‘Brendan’s a fantastic dad and his focus has been very much on the children.
‘It was with their encouragement that Brendan and Anna wanted to take this step. They are very excited for the wedding.’
News of their engagement comes just days after the seventh anniversary of Jo’s death.

The mum-of-two was killed by far-right extremist Thomas Mair days before the Brexit referendum on June 23, 2016.
Ever since her murder, Brendan has dedicated his life to fighting the extremism that lead to the tragic incident.
