The woman can be seen being attacked in the top left hand corner
A Jewish woman was violently assaulted and robbed in north London as police investigate a possible hate crime.
It happened while the 20-year-old victim was walking along Rostrevor Avenue in Stamford Hill, north London, at about 4.30pm on Thursday, when two women approached her.
Footage shared by neighbourhood watch group Shomrim shows how the woman is slapped, pushed onto a car bonnet, punched and kicked, even when she falls to the pavement, before the two women run off with her bag.
Other people walk past the scene as the attack is unfolding until eventually other people stop to help the victim.
The Metropolitan Police said the suspects ran off towards the A10.
The woman was left bruised and did not need to go to hospital and the Met is keeping an open mind about the motivation behind the attack.
Shomrim branded it a ‘vicious, racist attack’ that left the victim ‘unconscious’.

Detective Inspector Mike Herrick said the woman was left ‘terrified’.

‘We don’t underestimate the psychological impact of offences such as these and we are offering her every support as we work to identify the suspects.
‘We know footage of the incident has been widely shared on social media and understand that there will be added concerns about the motivation behind the attack.
‘We will of course keep an open mind about the motive and continue to work closely with the local community to allay any fears.’
