Jennifer Lawrence turned on Dior’s Christmas lights at Saks Fifth Avenue on Monday and was left flabbergasted when her belt popped off.
The 33-year-old Hunger Games star was standing behind a podium and had just started delivering a speech when she gasped and declared: ‘I’m so sorry, that was so loud, my belt popped off!’
Jennifer clasped her hands to her face as her belt fell to the floor, but ever the pro, quickly pulled herself together and carried on like nothing happened.
The mum-of-one is a Dior ambassador and in a video obtained by WWD could be seen telling those in attendance: ‘Thank you to Dior and Saks.
‘I’ve had the honour of being part of the Dior family for quite some time now. Looking around, this feels like the perfect place to celebrate the holidays.
‘Thank you again for having me.’
The Oscar-winner then watched in awe as Dior’s impressive ‘carousel of dreams’ was illuminated in the background.
For the festive bash, Jennifer looked a chic as ever and rocked up in a long black coat elegantly thrown over a crisp white shirt.

Jennifer’s hilarious appearance in New York comes after she was seen at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week show in September.
The A-lister took to the red carpet for what was a very starry event, with the likes of Netflix favourites Anya Taylor-Joy and Jenna Ortega also in attendance.

Jennifer wore a simple but chic outfit, consisting of a buttoned-down crisp white shirt, and a high-waisted long black skirt.
JLaw has been working with Dior for over a decade, first becoming an ambassador way back in 2012.
In 2013 the fashion house teamed up with the star for an accessories campaign and the next year they collaborated on a beauty campaign.
The rest, as they say, is history.
