ITV Good Morning Britain viewers call for Richard Madeley to be sacked over ‘abhorrent’ question

Daily Mirror says Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley left viewers enraged after he asked a provocative question when adressing a panel of journalists to discuss the conflict in the Middle East.

Richard, 67, was speaking on Monday’s edition of the ITV breakfast programme when a discussion about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas began. During the segment Richard recalled reading an opinion piece over the weekend before asking his co-stars a provocative question.

The veteran broadcaster’s comment and question led to many Good Morning Britain viewers mistakenly believing that Richard was expressing his own personal opinion regarding the conflict and comparing attacks on Palestine to Nazi Germany being invaded, a belief that has been quickly denied.
