The Dingle family are set to face more heartbreak as the betrayal of one of their own comes to light.
In recent episodes of Emmerdale, Vindictive Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) has been blackmailing Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) and enjoying the fruits of his labour, extorting large sums of money in exchange for staying away from Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) and his daughter Esther.
But he blows through his money at record speed, and he keeps his underhanded income stable by repeatedly offering to care for Esther, despite brutally admitting the tot means ‘nothing’ to him.
After baby Esther was rushed to hospital, Samson became the hero of the hour for raising the alarm.
But things are soon set to turn sour for Samson as his scheme starts to unravel – but does that mean he will be waving goodbye to the soap for good?
Is Samson Dingle leaving Emmerdale?
No, Samson won’t be leaving the Yorkshire Dales for now.
But, the he is facing turbulent times as he is set to be turfed out of his home.

Samson once again demanded money from Noah – and this time he wanted everything that was left in the whopping £20,000 trust fund Noah inherited that was set up by his aunt Zoe Tate (Leah Bracknell).
After an explosive showdown at home after leaving Amelia in the lurch, Samson left the Dingle home, but not before saying that he wanted ‘nowt to do with Amelia or her kid.’
After Noah turns down giving the trust fund money to Amelia to help with childcare – as it is now gone – his mother Charity (Emma Atkins) approaches him to ask why, and he soon reveals Samson’s scheme.
The family turn on Samson and a huge confrontation takes place. He tries to wriggle his way out of it, but a furious Sam (James Hooton) tells his son he is no longer welcome in the Dingle household.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
