Even if you’re a regular on cruises, it’s unlikely you’ve seen anything like this before.
Giving us all a peek into how the other half lives, a worker on the world’s largest cruise ship has shared the inside of the most luxurious suites on board – and we have serious travel envy.
Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas stretches across 1,188ft and boasts 18 decks, almost 3,000 cabins, 20 restaurants, four pools, a water park, playground, basketball court, ice-skating rink and a zip line.
Bryan James, who hails from California lives and works on the Wonder of the Seas shared a behind-the-scenes of the biggest suite available – the Ultimate Family Room – on TikTok recently.
The two-floor apartment sleeps up to eight people and spans over 1,300sqft, equipped with its own slide, a private terrace with a hot tub, multiple gaming systems, and musical stairs that light up as you step on each one.
But why let the luxury stop there? The suite also comes with its own personal butler who is on call 24 hours a day to get you whatever you need.

All that bougie-ness comes at a price though. You can expect to fork out thousands of dollars per night to stay here, as the room’s weekly bill is $52,000 (£41,266).
‘This isn’t just the biggest room on this ship, I think it might be the biggest room ever put on a cruise ship,’ Bryan explained in his video.
‘It’s over 1,300sqft, which makes it 40 times bigger than my room that I’m living in. And it’s not just about its size, there’s so much going on in this room.’

The room is equipped with the latest gadgets, has lavish decor, queen-sized beds, play areas, sun loungers and more.
‘Everything is super, super new. The bathrooms are big and spacious,’ Bryan added.
‘There’s a whole lot of little details all throughout the room that just gives it so much character.’

‘You have a personal butler on call 24/7. God I wish I was rich,’ Bryan continued.
‘You’ll also enjoy access to VIP perks, like complimentary drinks, specialty dining and VOOM, the fastest internet at sea.’
While that might sound like ultimate luxury to you, Royal Caribbean, which owns a fleet of cruise ships, is aiming to top itself with an even fancier option.
Its latest vessel, Icon of the Seas, will boast a new suite – the Ultimate Family Townhouse – which will cost $75,000 (£59,519) for a one-week stay.
In it you can expect three storeys, multiple balconies, a private cinema, karaoke station, and its own back yard.
It might even have its own golf course, allowing guests to get all the benefits of being on land while they traverse the seas in style.
