Cliff Notes – Injured WWE star returns after 6 months to join ‘unstoppable’ group

    • Bronson Reed made a surprise return at Saturday Night’s Main Event, aligning himself with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker after a six-month absence due to a broken foot.
    • His return was marked by an attack on CM Punk, costing Punk and Sami Zayn their match against Rollins and Breakker, followed by a brutal Tsunami move.
    • Fans reacted positively to Reed’s comeback, expressing excitement about his role in the newly formed faction, which is being described as "unstoppable."

WWE fans were stunned when Bronson Reed returned at Saturday Night’s Main Event and aligned himself with Seth Rollins.

The 36-year-old Australian superstar has been out of action for six months after suffering a broken foot when he jumped off the top of the WarGames cage at Survivor Series in November 2024.

This weekend he made his presence felt as he attacked CM Punk, costing the Second City Saint and his partner Sami Zayn the match against Rollins and Bron Breakker.

After the bell, the former NXT North American Champion got the ring and hugged the Visionary before unleashing another attack – and a brutal Tsunami – on Punk

Michael Cole pointed out he has joined the ‘unstoppable’ group led by Rollins, which already featured former International Champion Breakker, and Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.

Fans were delighted to see Reed back after so long, and excited to see what he does as part of the group.

‘This faction of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed is shaping up to be unstoppable and a force to be reckoned with,’ wrote @X_J_Sr, while fellow X user @TheRealGruber added: ‘Bronson Reed. Wow! This faction is coming together with the future #SNME’

‘Bronson Reed being the third member of Seth’s crew was unexpected and I love it,’ said @codyrhodesszn, as @stripeydani tweeted: ‘I am so happy to see Bronson Reed back, he really is something special and this group is now VERY interesting 👀’

And @SonnyVsTheW0rld raved: ‘Bronson Reed is the best choice they could have made to join this stable. I love this development. #SNME’

Back in December, Reed described himself as ‘unbreakable’ as he vowed to use his injury and forced absence as a game changing moment for him and his career.

‘I believe that in this business, you have to keep evolving. This is just another time to do so,’ he wrote. ‘Your outlook on situations can make or break you. My spirit is unbreakable.’

Despite some calls at the time for the WarGames match to be retired after his and Tonga Loa’s injuries, Reed took a defiant approach on social media, resharing clips of his brutal dive from the top.

‘Still walked outta that b**ch,’ he tweeted back in November.
