Today, the city of Bari was rocked by a scandal involving European funds meant to support youth employment initiatives. It has been revealed that several training organizations, managed by local authorities, have received funds from the “Youth Guarantee” program, but the money has allegedly been misused.

The Guardia di Finanza, the Italian financial police, conducted searches at the homes and offices of individuals connected to Alessandro D’Adamo, the city’s Budget Councillor. In response to the investigation, Mayor Antonio Decaro swiftly revoked D’Adamo’s delegation.

This shocking revelation has raised concerns about the misuse of public funds and the effectiveness of youth employment programs in the region. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as authorities work to uncover the truth behind this scandal.
