A former boxing star rumoured to be joining the upcoming season of Iām A Celebrityā¦Get Me Out of Here! has suffered a devastating loss.
Tony Bellew is set to appear as a latecomer on the reality series, which will launch on Sunday.
While he was initially revealed as part of a leaked cast list, heās yet to be confirmed as part of the line-up.
However, he and retired jockey Frankie Dettori are believed to be joining as latecomers after the initial group of famous faces enter camp.
While itās unclear if he has already flown to Australia before cameras start rolling, Bellew has revealed a recent family tragedy, sharing the news of the death of his grandmother.
The former Cruiserweight World champion shared a heartfelt tribute on social media on Saturday.

Posting a series of photos of them together on Instagram, he captioned the post: āGoodnight Nan! Iāll love you forever girlā¦an amazing mother to my Mum in what I can only imagine was a difficult time.
āYou carried me and my three brothers like we were yours!ā
He went on to share having her around was ālike having two mumsā, however joked about her disciplinary skills he was subjected to.
āYou always put us straight and told us off! You was the boss of our houseā¦ā
He concluded the post by writing: ā97 years old! You were a lady and a boss right to the end. I love you Nan.ā

Despite the loss, Bellew still appears to be heading to the jungle, following in the footsteps of last seasonās latecomers Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh.
The celebrities set to enter camp tomorrow include This Morningās Josie Gibson and Britney Spearsā sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage will also be joining them, with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, Eastendersā Danielle Harold and social media star Nella Rose also signing up for the reality series.
Meanwhile JLS singer Marvin Humes, food critic Grace Dent, First Dates Fred Sirieix, and Hollyoaksā Nick Pickard are the other stars who have been confirmed to appear.
Iām A Celebrityā¦Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1.
