I’m A Celebrity star Nella Rose has been rushed to a medic and is therefore exempt from the next bushtucker trial.

The YouTube star, 26, has had her fair share of critters and snakes in the jungle, and devastatingly missed out on any stars during Tuesday’s challenge with Frankie Dettori, leaving Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly beyond frustrated.

However, as the next trial approached, viewers learnt Nella would be exempt, with the hosts explaining: ‘Now unfortunately Nella is being seen by the medic.

‘She should be back later but it means she is now exempt from today’s trial.’

Instead, Nigel Farage and Nick Pickard voted in for the task, leaving the likes of Fred Sirieix and Jamie Lynn Spears pretty relieved.

While more details over Nella’s absence have yet to be revealed, she was left ‘devastated’ after the previous trial, which saw her caught up in a nasty encounter with a snake.

After leaving the box full of snakes she was trapped in, while she failed at unlocking padlocks, one creature wrapped itself around her t-shirt and bit into it at the back.

‘Is he biting onto something?’ she asked, before swearing in shock at what she saw.

‘It was wrapped around me, it wouldn’t let go,’ she went on, left pretty speechless.

This came after Grace Dent quit the show for ‘medical reasons’, leaving a letter to her campmates which read: ‘My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience.’

While Nella was absent from the final moments of Tuesday’s episode, it had actually been Jamie Lynn defending her threats to quit, after she wept about being ‘miserable’.

‘Guess what I didn’t leave,’ the Zoey 101 star said, before defending herself against Sam Thompson calling her ‘the girl who cried wolf’.

‘I’m speaking honestly about my emotions,’ she went on as Fred laughed about Jamie Lynn making it to the final two.

‘I love you all, that’s why I’m here,’ she added.

Jamie Lynn continued: ‘I think everybody had a rough day today, but I’m not crying wolf, I mean it very much.

‘I mean it, every time I want to leave, I have bad days, not everyday is sunshine and roses.’

I’m A Celebrity continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1.
