Ian Wright insists Arsenal missed a trick and went too easy on their former goalkeeper Matt Turner in last night’s win over Nottingham Forest.
The USA international endured an evening to forget against the club which let him go in the summer after just one solitary season at the Emirates.
Turner was largely untroubled during the opening 65 minutes as the Gunners failed to turn the overwhelming share of possession into goalscoring opportunities.
Arsenal eventually made the breakthrough shortly before the midway period in the second half when Forest’s defence switched off from a throw in.
