Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has been speaking about the ‘mum guilt’ she recently experienced while having a hangover.
The actress, best known for her role as Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, often posts about her life as a mum to Matilda, Delilah and Charlie, but the family dynamic changed when she split with her footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair last year.
Opening up about the recent bank holiday weekend, Helen told her Instagram followers that she had ‘the worst mum guilt’ and was ‘so hungover’.
‘I literally can’t remember the last time I was so hungover that I just like chilled in the house and I do feel guilty about it, because the kids have just chilled with me all day and then my mum popped round and took Delilah’.
‘It just happens sometimes, doesn’t it?’, she said, discussing her hangover.
‘I’m usually really good with my drinking. I wasn’t really really drunk but I usually know my limit, but I’m sure I am not the only one in the boat of mum guilt and I don’t make a habit of it.’
Helen Flanagan is currently appearing in the All Stars version of I’m A Celebrity, set in South Africa.
The pre-recorded series has seen the return of iconic campmates such as Joe Swash, Helen, Myleene Klass and Fatima Whitbread, with all of them being tasked with facing terrifying Bushtucker Trials once more.
In Helen’s first trip to the jungle ten years ago, her terror and squeamishness at the bushtucker trials meant she was voted by the public to do seven trials in a row.

This time, she seems to have a new mindset and recently tackled the Newton’s Cradle challenge in the launch show without much fuss at all.
We love to see it, Helen.
