Huge popstar tipped as Glastonbury headliner after Madonna talks ‘break down’
It’s March and we have no idea who is headlining – or even playing – at Glastonbury 2024, but some fans think Rihanna could be in the running.
The 36-year-old Barbadian singer popped up on social media performing in a very unexpected place this week, having only taken to the stage once in the last eight years at last year’s Super Bowl halftime in a one-off show.
Before then, Rihanna last performed on stage in her 2016 ANTI World Tour, so fans were baffled when she was filmed performing for a private wedding party days ago.
Of course, she didn’t do this for a few thousand pounds, but Rihanna was reportedly paid £5million for a 90 minute performance. She was hired by Asia’s richest man, billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani, for his son Anant Ambani’s very casual pre-wedding celebration before he is due to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant in July.
