Best of all, just because it’s on a budget, does not imply that you will have a crap time, it just means you won’t be wasting all your money, on getting to the city.

Paris is one of the great cities, it is without doubt the European city of fashion and culture and has been since before la guillotine. Brimming with history, culture and romance it is an ideal city to either take a day trip or a weekend getaway. The thing that makes it so special, it has the “Je ne sais quoi” something that you can’t explain, but when you are strolling around the Champs-Élysées you’ll feel it and know you’re in Paris.

    Instagram it!

The best way to appreciate a city is to read up, in advance about the history. Do you know how impressive it will be to share that history with your partner? And, this may sound obvious, but take pictures and add your commentary and notes about what you felt, as you travel.

The French capital has so much else to offer; the incredible museums, The Eiffel Tower, art galleries and monuments, and don’t forget the French Court, the original playground of the first influencer in history Marie Antoinette; a spectacular array of opulence and panache.

Anyway, now that we have established why you should let’s move on from daydreaming and make it happen. The first question we had, when we were researching this; is Paris an expensive city city to visit? or to give us perspective, is Paris more expensive than London? The short answer is No! the long answer is yes it can be, but then so can London, but the good news is you can do it on a budget.
