Dominic said: ‘The key is to use a brighter highlighter than you might expect.

‘Something that has a sliver or champagne tone works best as it pop against your skin tone to look crystallised.’

This can be in the form of a highlighter, shimmery eyeliner or silver lipliner.

Dominic said you want to make sure it’s ‘swept generously over the cupids bow and centre of the bottom lip and then pressed out makes lips look poutier and fuller’.

TikToker Eva Larøsa, pictured above, showcased the trend using the Pillow Talk lipliner from Charlotte Tilbury, and softly lined the corners of her lips to make the edges a little more defined.

Once you’re shimmering, Dominic advised finishing off ‘with a layer of lip balm or lip gloss, like MAC Clear Lip Glass’.

‘It’s super simple and easy to do but the effect is really impressive,’ he added.
