A new Netflix documentary has shed light on the darker side of Pornhub, and what it’s really like to be a sex worker and content creator.
Money Shot: The Pornhub Story explores the controversial porn website and how the infamous adult entertainment platform ‘fundamentally changed how pornography is made and distributed’.
Long before OnlyFans was a thing, Pornhub, which launched back in 2007, ‘enabled erotic content creators to reach a massive audience while the company made billions of dollars.’
However, at the same time it also became embroiled in allegations including non-consensual material and trafficking on the site.
In 2020, Pornhub banned all unverified content after Visa and Mastercard withdrew their payment privileges, which changed the game for creators who were forced to start finding income elsewhere.
In the documentary, porn performer and content creator Siri Dahl reveals one income stream she now has on OnlyFans: rating d**k pics.
‘So since Pornhub lost it’s payment processing ability, most of my work is coming from OnlyFans these days,’ the model begins begins.

‘And everything about my workday is centered around making sure that stays as reliable as possible.
‘And one of the more fun things that I do on OnlyFans is that I offer d**k ratings.
‘I started doing it because I got a ton of requests from guys like, “Hey, would you rate my d**k?”
‘And I was like, “Excuse me, you want me to look at your d**k and then rate it?”‘
She continued: ‘The thing that I sell the most are video d**k ratings and so this is me just literally filming myself on my phone.
‘I never look at their actual d**k pic until the moment that I am filming the rating video.’

The clip then cut to Siri in action, filming herself rating a picture sent in.
‘All right, first w****r of the day,’ she began.
‘Hello there! I don’t know your real name, but I hope you’re having a good day so far,’ she recorded.
‘I’ve got your d**k pic pulled up in front of me, and you have a nice looking d**k.
‘I can’t get a great sense of scale from this, I think it looks like it’s about average, maybe slightly smaller than average, but then average girth, or maybe even bigger than average girth.
‘You’ve got a great d**k. It’s ample-sized.
‘It looks like a very nice, well taken care of d**k. I can tell that you’ve put some effort into your grooming.
