Josh Radnor has officially become a husband after marrying Dr Jordana Jacobs in a ‘light blizzard’.
Not even the weather could stop Josh, 49, and the clinical psychologist from saying ‘I do’. Josh, who is also a musician, described the weather as being ‘cold and anxiety-producing, but also cosmic and divine’.
The actor, who is famed for playing Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother, had a picturesque ceremony at Cedar Lakes Estate in New York, and the ceremony in a snowstorm matches their unusual beginnings.
The pair met at a sound meditation retreat – after taking psychedelics, they were lying on the floor at opposite sides of a room in February 2022.
Josh told New York Times, that he feels a voice told him: ‘That’s her. That’s your woman.’ Jordana, 36, was having a similar experience: ‘You know that man over there across the room, Josh? You’re drawn to him.’
‘I had this experience in ceremony of listening to my heart and my heart is drawn to you,’ Jordana recalled telling Josh afterwards.

While texting Jordana did admit she’d never seen his long-running sitcom, but Josh was relieved as ‘fame robs you of an ability to make a first impression’. Soon it was time for their first date where they went ‘very deep’ – her words.
They became engaged in May after meditating and writing each other love letters, which led to their January wedding which included yoga and a sound meditation in the morning.

‘The truth is, I didn’t get married until now because I was waiting for you,’ Josh romantically told Jordana in the vows proving he’s every bit as romantic as the fictional characters that he plays!
Later, reflecting on the special day on Instagram, Josh wrote: ‘I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard. It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend. So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us.’
‘I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,’ he added.
