Stephen Amell has taken to social media to ask the public for help in finding his missing friend, David Andrew McLean.
The Arrow star, 42, implored his 50-year-old friend to ‘just come home safe’ while sharing a post from the missing man’s mother.
David was last seen on October 9, and was reported missing four days later. He is considered to be ‘at risk’ and has still seemingly not been located almost two weeks later.
Stephen posted an ‘important request’ on Facebook yesterday, which he explained was ‘on behalf of the entire Arrow family.’
The actor played the main character in the DC-created Arrowverse, first appearing as Oliver Queen in the superhero series Arrow based on the DC Comics. This role shot him to fame, and he now has 6.9million followers on Instagram.
North Vancouver RCMP’s missing person file said: ‘While there is no foul play suspected, this is out of character for him. Police consider David Andrew McLean to be at risk and are concerned for his wellbeing.
‘Anyone with information about this missing person, or who believes they have seen David Andrew McLean is asked to our non emergency line at 604-985-1311.’

‘Our friend David Andrew McLean was last seen in North Vancouver on October 9th and a missing person report was filed on October 13th. We all love David and just want to make sure he’s ok.’
The Hollywood star also asked people to be ‘respectful’ of the post, and only to send helpful comments.

‘We love you David. If you’re read this, please just come home safe,’ he added.
The original post by David’s mother, shared by Stephen, reads: ‘To the many people who have shared, and re-shared, the Missing Persons report about my son, David, I thank you.
‘Feel free to keep on passing it along as there has been no report of any sighting so far. Many eyes help for sure.’
She then explained the photograph of David, saying it was taken a ‘month ago’ during his 50th birthday party.
‘He was last seen in North Vancouver, BC, where he lives. He’s driving a 2000 black VW,’ she continued.
The missing person report described David as a 180cm, 82kg, caucasian man with green eyes. He was last seen in an ‘army green jacket’ and a ‘black shirt.’
