Hollyoaks has thrown a spanner in the works in regards to the mystery of who has been targeting the the Hutchinsons’, with the show appearing to confirm that it’s none other than Tony (Nick Pickard) himself!
The Dog, as viewers know, has become a hub of strange goings-on over the past few days, with the car being burgled, before the pub itself was ransacked by a mystery intruder.
Tony claimed the incidents were threats being made by incels and other potential mates of Eric Foster (Angus Castle-Doughty), who is due to be sentenced this week.
The landlord has become extremely paranoid, worried that Eric and his radical misogynists would seek retribution, believing that Diane (Alex Fletcher) was in danger, given that Eric previously tried to kill her.
He argued in Monday’s (March 27) first look offering of the Channel 4 soap that the ransacking of The Dog was proof of his worst fears, arguing that Diane was no longer safe.
Beau Ramsey (Jon-Paul Bell), meanwhile, was quick to try and look at the CCTV footage from the evening in question in a bid to get to the bottom of who was to blame, but the tablet was installing an update, meaning a lengthy wait was in store.

The teacher, however, finally gained access to the recorded footage on the device and he was left stunned by what he saw.
Subsequent scenes saw him watch in shock as the same hooded figure from the night reappeared in the pub, before made their way towards Tony’s car.
Beau gave chase, knocking on the vehicle’s window, prompting the hooded figure to move into shot – with his identity being revealed.

It’s Tony! But how? But why?
Has Tony’s paranoia led him to stage this break-in in a bid to make Diane and Beau stay under his roof? Is it out of sheer desperation to protect his loved ones that led him to take such shocking action?
Or is there another explanation for his behaviour?
