Ste and James got some help in their mission – from none other than Drag Race star Danny Beard (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) was keen to ask Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) and Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) a question on behalf of himself and James (Gregory Finnegan), and he did so in the most fabulous of ways!
The cleaner, as viewers know, is set to wed James next year, after the lawyer popped the question in a romantic Valentine’s Day proposal.
The loved up couple wasted little time in planning their big day, but it didn’t take long for them to come to blows over the arrangements, with Ste keen for a big party, while James preferred the notion of a more intimate affair.
After some mediation from Sienna, Ste and James decided to compromise, with Tuesday’s (March 14) edition of the Channel 4 soap seeing Ste set his sights on sorting who would be their respective best men.
James, in typical James fashion, was nonchalant about the whole thing, but Ste was – yet again – determined to go large, as he staged the biggest, most fabulous event outside The Dog to ask Sienna and Romeo if they would do them the honours of being their best woman and best man.
Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, who had been with Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) hours earlier, appeared on top of the Love Boat to serenade Romeo and Sienna, popping the question on behalf of the happy couple.

Sienna was overwhelmed, both star struck over meeting Danny and delighted that Ste had chosen her to be his best woman. Romeo was similar made up that his dad had picked him, with the pair sharing a nice moment afterwards.
Juliet, meanwhile, received an upsetting update about her cancer, telling Peri that the doctors have told her she’ll need more chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.
