Hollyoaks is heating up this September Metro.co.uk can exclusively reveal, with former flames Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) set to reunite in a sordid affair.
The former lovers, who had a brief fling a number of years back, will be brought closer together once more as they provide comfort for one another amid their own respective discoveries.
Mercedes, as viewers know, has struggled to get through to boyfriend Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), who has struggled himself in the wake of son DeMarcus’ (Tomi Ade) departure.
The mechanic has turned to underground fighting as a way to channel his anger, much to the dismay of Sharon Bailey (Jamelia), who has been quick to try and make him see sense before it’s too late.
Mercedes, meanwhile, has been left perturbed by Felix’s behaviour with their relationship set to become all the more strained in the coming weeks.

The village bad boy, who knows all about Felix dabbling in illegal fighting, offers support to Mercedes in upcoming scenes this September, after her beau takes a leave of absence from the eponymous village.
Mercedes will return the favour for Warren, who is set to finally discover the truth about whether or not Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) is his daughter.
One thing leads to another and sparks ultimately fly at The Loft, with pictures shared exclusively with Metro.co.uk revealing the scenes in question.

Felix, however, is determined to get on the straight and narrow as he sets about returning to the village, but will he find out that Mercedes has strayed with his best friend Warren?
