Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr has announced he has become a dad for the first time on Instagram.
The actor, who played policeman George Kiss on the Channel 4 soap, welcomed a baby girl named Isla with his girlfriend Lauren.
Sharing pictures of himself cuddling his bundle of joy and Lauren, Callum wrote: ‘Meet my daughter, my world: Isla ❤️ .
The other love of my life @laurenstacy7 was amazing thru the whole thing… isn’t she GLOWING!?!? Feeling like the luckiest guy in the world- words don’t cover it.’
Callum’s 160K followers flocked to the comments section to congratulate him, with Alex Anders writing: ‘Congratulations to you both. She is beautiful.’
Gemma De Vyea shared: ‘So happy for you! This is wonderful. Congratulations! X.’
‘Aww congrats son…welcome to the world of parenting…’ Marco Li Donni added.
Callum revealed he was going to become a dad in July, eight months after his split from fiancée Olivia Anderson.
Sharing a clip of an ultrasound scan, he penned at the time: ‘Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a dad.

‘I can’t wait to welcome this little one into the world with my love, my angel, my partner in crime.’
The 29-year-old split from his fiancée last October after an 11 month engagement.
Back in 2021, Callum announced their engagement as he posted a snap of Olivia’s engagement ring.
He wrote at the time: ‘Bout last night @imolivialauren.’
Olivia, from Austin, Texas, met Callum back in 2016, and the pair bonded over their love of travelling before Olivia moved to the UK to be with him.

The former couple then both moved to her hometown in 2021 so Callum could focus on his acting career.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Sadly things haven’t worked out between Callum and Olivia and they have called it quits. It’s been painful for both of them.’
Callum’s character George was involved in a pretty heavy storyline before his departure.
The policeman was abusing and controlling boyfriend (James Sutton) John Paul for several months now, and recent scenes have seen him attempt to stop his beau from applying for a new job.
His methods involved him encouraging John to neglect his responsibilities under the guise of wanting to spend more time with him.
‘George is pretty childish,’ Callum told Metro.co.uk. ‘ He’s also very needy and wants John Paul’s attention at all times.
‘Any time John Paul looks like he’s got something better to do, it really frustrates George, and the way he deals with that is to make John Paul feel bad for doing whatever it is that he’s doing on his own.’
